Journal #39 - Write a response to this statement by Charlie Brown.  The way to go nowhere is to follow the crowd.

All classes:  Using large drawing paper create a poster with a message about STDs.  (25 points)  If you are absent today, please study your STD notes and arrange to come in and take the STD post test.

9-10 and 11-12:  Speaker, Victoria, from PSC - Activity on Transmission of STDs and Givers & Takers discussion.

All Classes:  Using a piece of notebook paper, write a one-page response to Victoria's presentations. (25 points)  If you missed one or more days of Victoria's presentations you should still do this assignment except you will base it on your makeup assignments. 

All Classes:  View and discuss ppt. presentation on Bonding MattersDo ladder activity and turn in.  (15 points)  If you are absent today you will need to get the ppt. notes from this presentation as well as the ladder activity.  Do and turn in.

Friday, April 8, 2011 

Journal #40 - Write a five-bullet response to Tina's presentation.  If you are absent today you will need to make up your own journal entry. 

Mods 7-8:  Complete viewing of The Allison Gertz Story.  Afterward read the article on Rihanna and Chris Brown, If Love Hurts, It Isn't Love.  Do the accompanying questions and turn in.  (This class did not get finished.)

If you are absent today you will need to get a copy of the article and the questions from Mrs. Smith.

Mods 9-10 and 11-12:  Read the article, If Love Hurts, It Isn't Love, and do the accompanying questions.  Afterward, read the second article on Chris Brown's trial and answer the questions. Turn in your papers.
