Journal Entry #10 - Draw a Picture of Yourself with Your Family

Mods 7-8:  Back to Back Drawing (Communication Activity)  If you are absent today you do not need to make this up.

9-10 and 11-12:   View and discuss the ppt. presentation, Section I - Getting Ready, Lesson1:  What It's About.  Do pp. 3 - 6 in the workbook.   

You will receive copies of the notes from this presentation. 

After the presentation Mrs. Smith will give you a copy of the workbook for this half of the curriculum.  Please put your name on the upper right-hand corner of the workbook.  Print if you don't write clearly!  Do pp. 3 - 6.

Your workbook should always be with you in class!  You will be able to keep it in the hanging file for your class in room 102.

If you are absent today, ask Mrs. Smith for a copy of the workbook.  Obtain copies of the notes from the file and study them.  Do pp. 3 - 6 in the workbook.

Journal Entry #12 - Pick up a copy of How Mature Are You? from the box on the counter by the classroom door.  Follow the directions for taking the quiz and then answer the question at the bottom of the quiz in your journal.  Turn in your copy of the quiz for (5 points).

All Mods:  View and discuss the ppt. presentation, Section I - Getting Ready, Lesson 3:  Ask, Accept, or Decline.

You will receive copies of the notes from this presentation.

Divide the class into mixed gender groups of four or five and do the activity, "Ask, Accept, or Decline".  Follow the printed directions for doing the activity with your assigned group.

If you are absent today, obtain copies of the instructions for writing your skit as well as the ppt notes on lesson 3.  You will do the Ask, Accept, or Decline activity on your own by writing a skit.  Since you will not be performing your skit, you should write a skit that is at least two pages long and turn it in.

If you are absent today please make sure you pick up copies of ppt. notes for lessons 1 - 3.  We will have a test over these notes as well as the Dating and Courting ppt. notes on Friday, February 25, 2011.  This will be a 25 point test.
