| Monday, January 31, 2011 | Provide students with copies of the Group Guidelines for Relationship Matters. Read, sign, and turn in the guidelines for recording. Journal Entry #2: Write about your put down experience. Did you try? Why or why not? What impact do your words have on others? (5 points) IALAC Activity. If you are absent and miss this activity, you will have to get a copy of its description from the file by the door in room 102. Read about the activity and make sure that you understand it. Write a one page response (or 10 bullets) to the activity and turn it in to Mrs. Smith. Be sure to include in your writing descriptions of times when your IALAC sign was torn and/or mended by someone. Name, date, mods, and description of the activity should be on your paper in order to receive proper credit. After the activity students will pair up and interview one another, discussing the following: 1. Share with one another one time in the past week when someone ripped a piece of your IALAC sign and one time in the past week when someone added a piece to your IALAC sign. Write brief notes about your discussion and turn in your paper. (5 points) |

| Friday, February 4, 2011 | Journal Entry #4 - Write about the best date that you've ever been on. What made it memorable? If you haven't been on a date, yet, write about the best time you've ever had with someone else ... friend, family, etc. Interview Activity If you are absent today make up Journal Entry #4. Obtain two copies of the Interview Activity. Interview someone that you know, and then have that person interview you. Please turn in the interviews together. Don't forget about bringing in your symbol on Monday, February 7, 2011. |
