Do The Breakfast Club Journal Entry #1 Activity. 

If you have been absent this week at any time it is your responsiblity to complete viewing The Breakfast Club.  Please make arrangements with your teacher to do so.  You may pick up a copy of today's activity (it's worth 25 points) in the hanging file on the counter by the door in room 102.  Journals are available from Mrs. Smith.

Mods 7-8 and 9-10:  Do Orientation and Learning Names Activity.  This does NOT have to be made up. 

Do Put Down Activity together.

If you are absent today, do the following:  Draw a stick figure of a person on a sheet of plain, white paper.  On and around the person, write as many "put downs" or insults as you can think of.  Make sure that the words are school appropriate.  After you do this, challenge yourself to NOT use these terms and phrases in any of your relationships with friends, family, co-workers, etc.  See if you can do it for two days!  Turn in your stick figure paper to your teacher.  You will process this activity on Monday, January 31, 2010 in your journal.
